Dimplex Albany Built-in Opti-Myst Fireplace

Albany is a hybrid fireplace insert developed by Dimplex, which is based upon Dimplex's Opti-Myst technology. Opti-Myst is a technology that creates flame effects using water vapour and LED light.

The Dimplex Albany insert is designed to be built into the wall or a fireplace frame.

The fireplace is equipped with a small water tank that burns 6-7 hours per filling depending on the power level. The water vapour is generated by vibrations from the built-in transducer and the water vapour is therefore not hot, making the fireplace completely child- and pet safe.

To make the flame effect even more realistic, a piece of decorative wood is included, which should be placed on top of the firebox, through which the water vapour slides up while the light gives a glowing effect in the "ashes"

In addition to this, the Albany fireplace has a built-in heat blower than can be turned on/off independently of the flames.
