Lagos electric fireplace
The Lagos electric fireplace is an electric insert that can be built into a piece of furniture or a wall. The Lagos insert is therefore perfect for those who want to create their own DIY project. The fireplace is from the Dutch manufacturer Xaralyn. The flames are created by LED light and are therefore completely harmless. It is possible to adjust the heat output and switch the fireplace on/off via buttons on the insert itself.
Heat output and consumption
The Lagos insert has 2 heat settings: 0.9 kW and 1.8 kW. In addition, it can of course also be used without heat if not desired. This heat output is equivalent to heating approximately 26 square metres. In case the fireplace gets too hot, the heater will automatically switch off.
When the fireplace is in use without heat, it consumes about 10 W (0.10 kW).

Installation and safety distances
The Lagos insert can be built into furniture or a wall of any material. The insert is delivered assembled and is therefore ready for immediate installation.
Please note that power must be available nearby. This insert only requires 230V. It is important to make sure that the heating element is not blocked so that the insert can constantly get rid of the heat. This is located on the front.
