The so-called "transducer" for the Opti-myst fireplaces from Dimplex is nothing less than the heart and soul of Opti-myst technology. If you find that your Dimplex electric fireplace suddenly stops producing steam, it is most likely a problem that can be solved by replacing the transducer.
